Vain, selfish, rude, sarcastic, beautiful, proud, graceful, spoiled: all these and more are words frequently used to describe Evolette. She is afraid of commitment due to her parents obvious marriage problems, and she can’t ever seem to get past flirting with a guy.

Evolette doesn’t really care what you think about her. If you hate her, she hates you. If you love her, she tolerates you. There are very few people she cares about more than herself, and if you are one of those people, you are very lucky. Surprisingly, she has another side to her, one few people are privileged to see.

She loves to flirt, and pretty much the company of any male. She has had a few female friends in her time, but they could never keep up with her, and always became jealous that the boys liked her better. Evolette is a serious student, much to the surprise to many, and she received top grades while tutored at home. She might seem like a dainty little girly girl, and mostly she is, but she can put up a mean fight when she needs to, and she is not afraid to get dirty.

Besides that, she has three older brothers, three best friends, and a handful of other boys who would readily come to her rescue. Mess with Evolette McKenna and you shall surely regret it.

Evolette was born to Nicholas and Morgan McKenna, a troubled couple with more than their share of problems. The two were matched by their parents, as an arranged marriage. Nicholas had family money, Morgan had family money, therefore, it was the perfect match. To everyone but Nicholas and Morgan, that is.

For the first few years of their lives, Evolette and her twin sister Octavia, barely saw their parents at all, mostly cared for by nurses and their three older brothers. But, on long, restless nights, it was not an uncommon occurrence to hear shouting echoing through the halls of the McKenna's very rich home.

At a young age, Evolette and her twin sister were sexually abused by their grandfather, Hanlin McKenna. Their father would have no part in it at all, and he demanded that they not say anything. However, Dominik, the oldest McKenna boy, took matters into his own hands, and murdered their grandfather. An action that would have quickly landed him in Azkaban, if the family was not so well connected.

Evolette, unable to quietly deal like her sister, often spent the night at her best friend, Hugo Woods' house. The two had become close fast, and their friendship was often put to the test at a young age, especially after she refused to eat anything at one point.

As they got older, Evolette, Hugo and their other best friend Miles Parker were quite the band of devils, always sneaking off to pull some prank, or playing a game of truth or dare, which always had nasty results. After a few years of private home schooling, Evolette convinced her parents to let her attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry alongside her best friends Hugo and Miles. Little did she know that her summer fling, Terry Saunders would also be attending the very same school. Evolette and Terry dated on and off through fourth to sixth year, and they eventually broke up for good when Terry left school. 

Evolette's friend Miles graduated a year before her, and Hugo, who was a year behind her, left when his sister fell ill. In her fifth year, Evolette met Nicholai Toussaint, and the two became close friends very quickly. During a botched Care of Magical Creatures class, a Fwooper's song drove Evolette crazy, and she ran from the class in search of Nicholai. All she wanted to do was kiss him, and she did. It was just too bad that they were both in a relationship with someone else, or that kiss might have turned out to be something more. 

With only a year left of his schooling, Nicholai left Hogwarts to continue with private study under his uncle. 

That very same year, Evolette learned that Nicholai's long term girlfriend was pregnant, and that he was going to be a father.

During the summer between her sixth and seventh year, Evolette visited Nicholai's house, hoping to surprise him, but he was not there. Instead, she found his brother, Adriano. Whether she realized it at the time or not, Evolette tried to replace Nicholai with his brother. After a few swigs of firewhiskey, she slept with him. He was the closest to Nicholai that she was ever going to get, but she still felt ashamed that she did that to him. 

One night, Nicholai had her over for dinner, which he cooked himself. Evolette was tired of having to hide her feelings from him, and she was tired of being everyone's second choice, so, she told him that she had slept with Adri. She also told him that she'd wished it had been him instead, and she asked him why he had to choose Kayla over her.

Nicholai did not have answers for her, and instead, he decided to put her out of her misery by altering her memory with the use of an obliviating spell. Afterwards, Evolette carried on suppressing her feelings, having no recollection of the night she admitted to wanting Nico to be hers. 

Evolette, alone without all of her friends, met Plymouth Morgan one day while out in the snow. Plymouth and Evolette went on a date, but quickly became less of a couple, and more like friends.  Evolette continued into her seventh year, and she was appointed Head Girl, soon she had the celebrity status she knew she should.  Confused by her pent up feelings for her friend Nicholai, who was out of reach now, and the loss of a could be relationship with Plymouth, who had started dating Daphne Hopton, Evolette fell into a bit of a depression, and planned to leave her home after graduation, not telling anyone where she was going. 

Her mother, Morgan, started to set her up on a series of dates with eligible men. Because she was soon to graduate, Morgan thought it would be best to find her a good match. Evolette reluctantly humored her mother, though she knew she would not be around much longer to deal with it all. 

One night, her date was a man named Henry Ellerby, who took her to Miami and showed off his bad temper once or twice through the night. Evolette and Henry, despite a few rocky moments, seemed to connect instantaneously, and Evolette spent the night with him. There was no sex, as much as she tried to convince him, Henry had decided he would not take advantage of a first date. When he returned Evolette to her home the next morning, Henry told Evolette to owl him if she wished to go out again. But when Evolette did not owl Henry, as she was waiting to see how long he would take to owl her, and instead, went on a short lived date with another man, Henry's temper flared once more, and he confessed that he wanted her to date him, and not the other men. 

After graduation, Evolette did leave, but not totally alone. She and her best friend Willow Kovac went traveling, sometimes meeting up with Henry when possible. While in Italy, Evolette was approached by a photographer, who would eventually get her modeling career started. 

One night, after a particularly bad fight, Henry told Evolette that he was a werewolf. He expected her to leave, but she didn't.

Evolette and Henry continued dating, and she  moved in with him into his parent's home. 

Eventually, Evolette and Henry moved in together, to a house in Fiji.  In the late summer of 2072, Henry proposed to Evolette on the beach that their house sat on, and of course, she said yes.

A few months later, Evolette learned that the man she thought was her father, Nicholas McKenna, was NOT her father after all. Her real father was a man by the name of Wesley Averett, who Morgan had dated while they both attended Beaxubatons Academy, but was forced to break up with, when her parents set her up with Nicholas McKenna. 

Nicholas and Morgan divorced in 2073, and he dissolved all of the trust funds he had had set up for Evolette and her twin sister Octavia. The former Mr and Mrs McKenna sold their family home to Octavia, and she, her two children and their older brother Preston now live there.

Morgan and Wesley eloped after the divorce was finalized. Nicholas McKenna moved away and completely cut himself off from his family. He has not been heard from since.

When Evolette invited Nicholai (who was separated from his girlfriend and the mother of his child) to show him her home and to tell him about her engagement, he admitted to her that he loved her. He told her about the night that he obliviated her memory, and offered to try to fix it. Evolette was a complete emotional wreck, and when Nicholai then offered to take it away, she declined. 

Evolette broke off the engagement to Henry, and left their house to try to clear her head and decide what she wanted to do. She went to see Nicholai because he was the closest person she had left, and the only one she didn't have to explain the whole story to. 

After an intense time away from Henry, hurting him and hurting Nicholai at the same time, Evolette had to make a choice. She chose Henry, and to show him that, she bought them a house in Miami, where he had taken her on their first date. Evolette and Henry moved from Fiji to the Miami house with the intent of a fresh start, and that Christmas, Evolette found out that she was pregnant. Wanting to get married before she started to show too much, Evolette and Henry had a Valentine's Day (2073) wedding. 

The following August, Evolette gave birth to twin boys, Wesley Paul (named after Henry's deceased brother) and Plymouth William (named after Evolette's best friend Plymouth Morgan, and Henry's father William Ellerby).
