Friends: Friends? Um. How about admirers?
Personality: Lazy and self indulgent. She can be kind when she wants to (and if she hopes to make any money, she WILL) but she can also be vicious, mostly behind your back. To your face, and to most people she meets, Dakota is a perfectly lovely woman, charming and helpful, it mostly is to the people who know her well, that her behavior and attitude change, and often times, they change drastically.
Regardless of her bad qualities, she also has a few (maybe) good ones. She has the ability to work hard, build up her shop, make a success out of herself and earn trust. She has it, but only time can tell us if she will learn how to use it.
History: Dakota is a half blood, her father is a Muggle race car driver (now retired), and her mother is a pureblood; a bigwig fashion designer in the Wizarding World. When Dakota was 12, her father was in a terrible accident during one of his races. She was away at Hogwarts when it happened, and her mother, assuming the injuries were fatal, pulled her out to come home. To the joy and relief of everyone, he did survive and to this day, he is as healthy as a horse. However, the accident did mark the end of his career, and his next race (which he won) was his last. Her mother continued to work, though not out of necessity, but because she liked her job very much. Dakota was sent back to school shortly after, and had to work very, very hard to catch up, and move on to the next year, come the next school term.
The Baileys are rather old family friends with the Kennings. Dakota, Etienne, and Holland attended Hogwarts in the same years, with the exception that Holland was a Hufflepuff. Much like the Kenning children, Dakota also had the best of both worlds, the Muggle world, and the Wizarding world, with everything at her fingertips; something that she has used and abused over and over through the years.
She was raised with everything she wanted, and as an obvious result, is very spoiled. Daddy's little girl could do no wrong (although she DID, and OFTEN) until she took his most prized racing car out for a little joy ride, and crashed it. Now, she is working. For the first time in her life, actually working. Wiseacre's is actually owned by her parents, but Dakota is now in charge. It is the Bailey's hope that their daughter will learn to be a responsible adult, by working for a living, and making her way in the world beyond pedicures and facials.
It's sink or swim time for this Princess.
