General Appearance: Aaliyah is naturally small, or petite as some would say. She had a very high metabolism, and she can eat whatever she wants, and always does, yet her weight is maintained. Her dancing career has built her muscles, and her body is very lean. Oftentimes, Aaliyah makes up for her lack of height by wearing very tall shoes, which she is very practiced in wearing now, and can even run in, if she ever had a reason to run. Only wearing designer labels, Aaliyah's large closet is emptied out one a month, as she never wears the same thing twice. Ever.
Personality: Even though she is spoiled, and proud and rich, Aaliyah can also be sweet, when she feels like it. Often, and only to her close friends, she is referred to as the "sweetheart" Aaliyah likes boys. Most of her time spent, is spent with boys, although the other girls of the Acer Crew are her close friends, she values the boys a little bit more. SHHH. Don't tell. On the outside, she appears calm, collected, and quiet, and most of the time she is, as long as she is getting her way. But should you dare contradict her, tell her no, or stand in her way, watch out for the claws, cause then, they will come.
History: Without her mother, and her father always away on business, Aaliyah was raised by maids and bodyguards. She does not think of these people as the "help" but as her family. Before her mother died, Liling, who was a model/actress herself, secured Aaliyah an agent, and quickly got her into working in modeling, and commercials. She continued with her modeling even after her mother died, often taking her loving nurse, Meili with her. Aaliyah attended high class private schools all through her elementary and high school years, and she was involved in many afterschool activities, choosing to keep herself busy, and with her friends, instead of at home alone. Along with her modeling, Aaliyah also started dancing, her favorite was ballet and ballroom. In the 9th grade, Aaliyah found her love of painting, and from there, her art obsession evolved exponentially.
Family: Quan Lei, Aaliyah's father is 54 years old. He met her mother, Liling, 20 years ago at a launch party for his first restaurant, and two weeks later, found out that she was pregnant. Head over heels in love, the young couple married 2 months later, in a traditional wedding in Hong Kong. Three years after Aaliyah was born, the family moved to the United States, taking up residence in New York. Quan's business boomed quickly, and still today, he owns over 70 working, high business restaurants (most of which are Chinese food restaurants) in over 8 different states. At the age of five, Aaliyah's mother died in a tragic airplane crash. When her father IS home, all of his time is devoted to doting on his daughter, there is nothing that he would not do, say, or buy for his little princess.
Pets: At home, Aaliyah has a small zoo. Giraffes, elephants, monkeys and horses. She also has a rather spoiled cat named Jia.
