Daniel was born as an only child, when both of his parents died in a Muggle car crash, he was sent to live with his Uncle in Italy.

A shy, quiet child, Daniel did a lot less talking, and a lot more attentive to his surroundings. Picking up the language quickly, he was fluent in it in only a few months.

Daniel was sent to Hogwarts along with his five cousins, and was promptly sorted into Ravenclaw. He worked hard, often turning down a fun weekend in Hogsmeade to study for exams, Daniel achieved very high marks. Higher than anyone in his year.

In fourth year, Daniel was charged by his Charms Professor, to help tutor one of his classmates, Charlotte (?), and immediately became smitten with her. He often found it hard to form a sentence without stumbling over his words, or stuttering, which he always did when he was nervous.

Daniel never told Charlotte about his feelings for her, and he watched helplessly as she went on, having no clue.

Upon graduating, Daniel bumped, quite literally, into Charlotte at a Muggle bookstore, and he was, surprisingly, finally able to ask her out.

Daniel and Charlotte dated for three years before getting married. At the time, Charlotte was working at a hotel in the Wizarding world, on her last year of her apprenticeship. He surprised her with lilies, and proposed right there infront of everyone in the dining room.

They had a small, family oriented wedding, followed by a romantic honeymoon in Paris. For the first few years together, they lived in Italy, but soon after they moved to Scotland, where Charlotte had always wanted to live, and Daniel had lived, before the death of his parents.

Soon after, they had their first child, a little girl, who died only hours after birth. They then decided to not rush it, if they were meant to have children, they would.

Three years later, Charlotte gave birth to a healthy baby boy, who they named Colby. Then, only one year later, they had another son, Ian.

In the next 7 years that followed, Morgan, and the twins, Ainsley and Greer were born.

The McKensie family now lives in Glasgow. Daniel writes children's books from home, while he tutors their children in the wizarding ways, and Charlotte has her own five star restaurant in Wizarding Glasgow.
