Personality: A rather quiet man who always has something on his mind. Never impulsive, he moves with a plan. Nicholas has an eye for detail and a quick mind that lets him go far in his career. He never really cared for the fact that he was married, and the only reason he cares and protects his family is for the leverage they give him.

History: Nicholas was born on a stormy night, to a very wealthy family in Southern England. He was the third of five sons birthed to his parents Hanlin Fisk McKenna, and Veronica Evelyn Prescott - McKenna. His childhood was a contradiction to what people saw upon first glance. Nicholas and his brothers were taught from a young age that emotions were something that one kept hidden at all costs.
His father, was very rich and very busy. He was never around, and when he was, it was not a happy time. Hanlin thought that the best way to discipline his children was to hit them a few good times, or until they got the message.
Nicholas and his four brothers, Avery, Brighton, Stafford, and Grafton were tutored by an old Wizard who had recently retired from Durmstrang Academy. The McKenna's thought of themselves as one of the very best families in the Wizarding World, and decided that their children should not mix with the commons.
As Nicholas grew, he and his brothers were taught the family business and the importance of working hard for their money. As if they needed more money. The McKenna family was one of those that you would call, in old money. They had always been wealthy and they certainly were not going to break the bank anytime soon.
Money, the root of all evil, was the driving force in that family. Feelings and love were not important, it was the money you made, and the things you did with it. Therefore, when Nicholas became of a marriage age, his parents took it upon themselves to arrange one for him. The criteria was simple. One attractive young lady with family money that would bring pride to the McKenna name.
The result: Morgan Applegate.
Nicholas and Morgan were married on April 15th, in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The wedding was expensive and glamorous, but the union was not a happy one.
However, it produced more than enough heirs to the McKenna fortune. Something that was very important. Nicholas didn't care much for his children, nor did he really care if they had any more after the first one turned out to be a boy. But he found that they kept Morgan busy, and out of his hair, which freed him up for time spent "working".
These days, Nicholas can usually be found at his office, when working actually takes his fancy that is. Besides all of the employees he has, his three sons, Dominik, Alexander and Preston work for him.
When he is not working, which happens to be very often, Nicholas is found in the company of his business partners, always surrounded by a group of younger woman. He'd always been a smooth talker, and since he was stuck in a marriage, he thought, why not make the best of it?
Nicholas is not faithful to his wife, nor do I suspect, he has ever been. But, as the feeling of unhappiness in the marriage is mutual, there's nothing stopping him from doing what he wants when he wants it.
He has a day job, but it is only a cover for the many other things he does to make money. More and more money, he can never have enough.
Morgan and Nicholas divorced in the spring of 2073, after many years of marriage, he found that Morgan had been cheating on him for many years, with her Hogwarts boyfriend, and that his two daughters, Octavia and Evolette, were not really his.
He doesn't want to give them anything, they are not real McKennas in his eyes, and so they don't deserve anything from him. After the divorce was finalized, Nicholas sold the family house and disappeared, not to be heard from since.
